CSR activity of Himalayan Bank Ltd. to Helping Hands Children Home, Dallu, Kathmandu. Deputy General Manager Ujjal Rajbhandary distributed clothes and shoes to 21 children of the HHCH.

Himalayan Bank Limited has awarded this year’s HBL-Daayitwa Fellowship Award-2017 to Nepalese Public Service fellows. The Bank has been sponsoring six Nepalese fellows since 2016. The fellows promote economic prosperity of the country working with various government agencies and policy makers to collaborate and innovate in the governance system.

On the occasion of 25th Anniversary of Himalayan Bank Ltd., the Bank has contributed Rs. 10 Million under its CSR initiative towards Restoration of Patan Durbar Square in association with Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust (KVPT). The Chairman of the Bank Mr. Manoj Bahadur Shrestha handed over a letter of contribution to Mr. Rohit K. Ranjitkar, on January 21, 2018.

The Bank has provided the computers with the aim of assisting the students in their computer education. Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Ashoke SJB Rana handed over the computers to the principal of the school Mr. Megharaj Dulal amid a function at Bank’s Corporate Office.

Under the CSR initiative, Himalayan Bank Ltd. has contributed Rs. 5 lakhs towards Restoration of Shree Bhimsen Temple located at Patan Durbar Square.The temple was destroyed during the massive earthquake of April 2015. The Chairman of the Bank Mr. Manoj Bahadur Shrestha handed over the cheque to Mr. Krishna Lal Maharjan.

Chief Manager Mr. Bipin Hada distributed school uniform and shoes to the children of orphanage home " Bal Sudhar Sangh" at Tusal-6, Budhanilakantha under Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility.
