Himalayan Bank Limited has commenced operation of its Representative Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from February 10, 2015.Mr. Manoj Bahadur Shrestha, Chairman of the Bank inaugurated the Representative Office of the Bank at Medan Pasar, Kuala Lumpur amidst a separate function.

Addressing the inaugural function HBL's Chairman Mr. Shrestha said that establishment of a Rep Office would help to boost trade between two countries and it can play a catalytic role in promoting investment areas like tourism, trade, financial services, joint ventures, franchises besides the regular remittance services.

Similarly CEO of HBL Mr. Ashoke SJB Rana also stated that the establishment of the Rep office would be a milestone to enhance the business and social relationship between two countries.
